Avinode is the largest online Marketplace to buy and sell air charter and the leading provider of online solutions for air charter professionals. At the moment, there is no end-to-end payments solution in the industry. In order to maintain dominance in the market, and increase defensiveness, Avinode are looking to develop Paynode in order to give users more reason to use the platform.
[ KEY OBJECTIVES ]

• Understand broker and operator JTBDs to identify gaps in their processes.

• Identify features that Paynode should implement in order to design a best-in-class business aviation payments system.

• Build a roadmap that prioritises potential features, enabling Avinode to progress from where they are.

• Look at technical requirements of the products, and recommend products and services that could be utilised to make the proposition come to life.

The client wanted to create a best-in-class payments platform for the business aviation industry allowing operators, brokers and end clients to pay and get paid.
