It’s a situation we all face within our close circles of friends and family. People get excited about planning a trip away; however, staying on track with plans is difficult when everybody is out of sync and short of time. Grip is an app designed to provide an easier way to make and organise group plans. This project aimed to encompass all the steps to planning a successful trip or event in one convenient app.
[ APPROACH & VISION ]

This project would be an exercise in pure design thinking, taking a human-centred approach to innovation. My defined approach focused on end-to-end product development.

In the process I aimed to identify a market opportunity, clearly define the problem, develop a proper solution and validate the solution with real users.

Starting with my research plan, I looked to utilise relevant UX exercises and techniques to help me best empathise with users and develop a deep understanding of the problem.

Planning a group trip is difficult. Especially when everyone's short of time.
